May is National Strawberry Month! The programs will celebrate by having a Strawberry themed party. Some groups will participate in outdoor activities and a picnic at the park. Other groups will have special indoor games and activities. Catered lunch from Subway will be provided, as well as strawberry themed refreshments. *Alternate snacks will be made to consider those with allergies and other preferences.

Groups will participate in wellness-centered activities. The following groups will be offered:

  1. Wellness & Hygiene Discussion: Activity DIY Soap Kits

  2. Aromatherapy & Meditation

  3. Art & Self Care Crafts: DIY Lip Balm, Hair Accessories, & Candle Making; Nail Art

  4. Zumba & Chair Aerobics

  5. Healthy Snacks: Smoothie Bowls, Yogurt Parfait Cups, Celery Boats

  6. Community Activities: Basketball, Oval Park

April is Autism Awareness Month. We will focus on celebrating the individuals and providing them with a platform to tell their stories. Group discussions will be held with the theme using the slogans "Free to be Me" "See the Able not the Label", or "Different not Less" Groups will also complete a banner or art project to increase self-expression
