Nearly 25 years ago, Gateway (GCC) was founded on the principle that all individuals including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve to live happy, productive, independent lives. Since then, we’ve served more than a thousand clients and pioneered innovative programs. In essence, our programs speak to our participants not only as individuals, but as shareholders in the larger community.

Innovative Programming by Devoted Staff

Gateway Counseling Center services are from a wide range of Areas of Interest, and we designed them for people across the entire spectrum of disability. But most importantly, we pride ourselves on our caring, committed staff. From our dedicated DSPs, to our incredibly talented guest lecturers, to our conscientious facilities-management team, everyone in the Gateway network is working to bring the highest level of success to our individuals.

Trust Us To Be There For You

Gateway Counseling Center services run 365 days a year, 7 days a week, from early morning on into the evening hours. In addition, we serve the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. Additionally, our facilities are regulated under the auspices of the New York State Office for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH).
